Privacy Policy

Strategos Bot ("we", "us", "the app") is an Android automation tool for Travian Legends. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. What we collect

• Email address — provided at purchase. Used for license management, receipts, and support.
• Device ID — a unique Android identifier used to bind your license to one device.
• Discord username — if you link your account via /link, we store your Discord user ID alongside your license.
• App heartbeat data — periodic pings from the app indicating it is running, used for customer health monitoring and churn analysis.
• Crash reports — when the app crashes, we collect the stack trace, device model, Android version, and app version. These contain no personal data.

2. What we do NOT collect

• Travian passwords — your Travian credentials are stored only on your device, encrypted locally. They never leave your phone.
• Gameplay data — we do not log your villages, troops, resources, or farm targets on our servers.
• Analytics / tracking — we do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any third-party tracking.
• Location data — the app does not request or use GPS or network location.

3. How we use your data

• License management — verify your tier (Free, Standard, Pro, Lifetime) and device binding.
• Tier gating — enforce feature limits based on your subscription.
• Crash reporting — analyze crashes with AI assistance to fix bugs faster.
• Customer support — respond to your questions and resolve issues.
• Churn analysis — monitor heartbeat data to proactively help inactive paying users.

4. Third-party services

• Stripe — processes payments. We never see or store your credit card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — hosts our website and proxies API traffic. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google Gemini — powers AI features in our Discord bot (Q&A, crash analysis, bug triage). Questions sent to Gemini do not include personal data.
• Discord — community platform. Your interactions in our Discord server are subject to Discord's privacy policy.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data (email, device ID, license info) for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. Crash reports are retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.

6. Data security

License data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on a secured server. API communication uses HTTPS. Travian credentials never leave your device.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request complete removal of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to processing of your data.

8. Children

Strategos Bot is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
